The 2025 Pokemon World Championships for Pokemon Go, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet (VGC), Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG), and Pokemon Unite will take place this weekend in Anaheim, California.  The 2025 Pokemon Go World Champion will receive an exclusive avatar outift and pose.

Livestream Schedule

The times below are in PDT.
Livestream times are approximate and subject to change.

 

Worlds – Day 1 

(Friday, August 15: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. PDT)

 

Bracket Play will be streamed at Twitch.tv/PokemonGO. A rebroadcast is expected, allowing you to earn drops after the scheduled time.


Worlds – Day 2

(Saturday, August 16: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. PDT)

 

Bracket Play will be streamed at Twitch.tv/PokemonGO. A rebroadcast is expected, allowing you to earn drops after the scheduled time.


Worlds – Day 3

(Sunday, August 17: 9:00 a.m. PDT)

 

The finals will be streamed at Twitch.tv/Pokemon. There are no known Pokémon GO drops on the official livestream for this day.  All finals for Worlds 2025 will be shown on this channel.


Rebroadcasts will occur throughout the weekend outside of the above-listed live show times. If you miss the live broadcast, you can still follow these steps during a rebroadcast to get a code.



How to use Twitch Stream Drops

  1. Follow the official Pokémon GO Twitch channel at Twitch.tv/PokemonGO so you’ll get a notification when the broadcast begins.
  2. Connect your Pokémon Trainer Club account to Twitch by following steps 1–3 on this FAQ page.
  3. Watch the livestream. Be sure to catch the Pokémon GO World Championships livestream on Day 1, Day 2, or Day 3 for at least 30 minutes. (Minimizing the stream may pause the Twitch Drop progress timer on Twitch.)
    • Friday, August 15, 2025 — starts at 9:00 a.m. PDT and runs until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.
    • Saturday, August 16, 2025 — starts at 9:00 a.m. PDT and runs until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.
    • Sunday, August 17, 2025 — starts at 9:00 a.m. PDT and runs until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.
  4. Claim your Twitch Drop. After watching a stream for 30 minutes, a pop-up in Twitch chat will prompt you to claim your drop. You can also claim it by visiting your Twitch Drops Inventory.
  5. Find your code. After claiming, go to rewards.pokemon.com and select View Inventory. Locate the drop and click Show Code.*
  6. Redeem your code. Copy the revealed code to your clipboard and open the Offer Redemption page to redeem it. Having trouble? Refer to this article for help with code redemption.

* Codes for Days 1 and 2 will be valid until August 30, 2025 at 11:00 p.m. UTC. Trainers can only claim each Timed Research code once.
